We celebrated the 5th edition of the SwimNoLimits Cala Montgó crossing, the first event of the SNL Cup 2026, and we did it in the best possible way: with 500 swimmers sharing a morning of open water, Costa Brava, and a lot of eagerness to enjoy the sea.

The day was perfect from the very beginning. Sun, good temperature, calm sea, and clear water. Those days when, just by looking at the water, you already know that the crossing is going to be special.

And it was.

Participants were able to enjoy a spectacular route, passing by the cliffs, the cave, and the area of Illa Mateua. A route with that challenge we like, but also with moments to lift your head, look around, and think: “how lucky to be able to swim here.”

Throughout the morning, that atmosphere that makes SwimNoLimits special was palpable: nerves before the start, hugs upon arrival, families cheering from the beach, teammates discussing the crossing, and many smiles after crossing the finish line.

All of this with the safety team in the water attentive at all times, accompanying the event so that each swimmer could focus on what was important: swimming, enjoying, and completing their challenge.

The fastest of Cala Montgó

In the 1,500 m, the female winner was Alba Creus Raventós, with a time of 26:48. In the men's category, the fastest was Daniel Ortiz Castro, with 22:20.

Congratulations to all of them for their great results, and also to every person who yesterday put on the cap, entered the water, and experienced their own journey. Because at SwimNoLimits we know that every distance has its story.
