Next September 5th we have an appointment with the sea in one of the most spectacular corners of the Costa Brava.
The SNL Community Day was created to bring our community together and share our way of understanding open water: without competition, without rush, and enjoying places that only the sea allows us to reach..
We will meet at 09:00 h at Cala Xelida, Tamariu, from where we will start a route of approximately 3,500 meters round trip, swimming between cliffs, small coves, and islets.
Our destination will be one of the great secrets of this stretch of coast: the Cova d’en Gispert, considered the longest sea cave on the Costa Brava, which extends approximately 150 meters into the cliffs..
Entering it by swimming is an unforgettable experience. As we progress, the outside light disappears, the sound of the sea changes, and the temperature sensation drops. A place that perfectly summarizes the spirit of our Experiences: we do not swim simply to cover meters, we swim to discover.
A morning to enjoy together
The pace will be calm and non-competitive, with stops and regroupings to keep the group together and enjoy the surroundings.
We will have a minimum of two SNL guides in the water, coaches and invited swimmers, in addition to support boat during the course.
The use of safety buoy will be mandatory and we especially recommend the wetsuit, both for the pace of the start and for the time we will spend in the water and the conditions inside the cave.
The course may be adapted according to sea conditions. Safety will always guide our decision.
